Parking at Spitzingsee requires nerves of steel particularly during weekends and holdiays. Parking is available both for cars ans campers. Check the live parking announcement coming from Schliersee on Spitzingstraße to see which car parks have free spaces.
Parking charges for the winter season (01.12. – 31.03.) at Stümpflingbahn and Lyraweg have increased to 15 Euro for non-skiers. Parking in summer is much cheaper at only 5 Euro / day. Those with a valid pass for the ski lift are exempt from the parking charges. Hikers and other visitors not using the lift can find cheaper parking near the Taubenstein cable car.
